CUSTOMER
SYMPTOM:

Customers must experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination and the vehicle must
exhibit/set the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC):
● P0B0D-00 - Electric/Auxiliary Transmission Fluid Pump Motor Control Module.
Customers may also comment on the following:
● Vehicle is in limp mode.

CAUSE:

Electric auxiliary transmission oil pump failure

This Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) has also been released as a Rapid Service Update (RSU) 25-170,
date of issue August 16, 2025.

DIAGNOSIS:
Using a Scan Tool (wiTECH) with the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures available in DealerCONNECT/
Service Library, verify all related systems are functioning as designed. If DTCs or symptom conditions, other
than the ones listed above are present, record the issues on the repair order and repair as necessary before
proceeding further with this bulletin.
If the customer describes any of the symptoms listed above in the customer symptom section, perform the
Repair Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
NOTE: This is not a proactive repair. This Repair Procedure is to only be performed under this RSU if
the vehicle exhibits the symptom/conditions listed in this document.
1. Perform the "P0B0D-00 - Electric/Auxiliary Transmission Fluid Pump Motor Control Module" diagnostic
test. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/Service Library under: Service
Info> 28 - DTC-Based Diagnostics / Module, Transmission Control (TCM), 8P75PH / Diagnosis and
Testing.
2. Does the DTC diagnostic test lead to transmission oil pump replacement?
● YES>>> Proceed to Step 3.
● No>>> This bulletin does not apply. Perform the recommended diagnostic test repair.
3. Replace the transmission oil pump. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/
Service Library under: Service Info> 21 - Transmission and Transfer Case / Automatic - 8P75PH / Pump,
Electric Transmission Oil / Removal and Installation.
4. Clear DTCs.
