This bulletin provides instructions for inspecting the cooling fan terminal positioning on certain
Maserati GranTurismo and GranCabrio vehicles. In some cases, the terminal’s orientation may
require adjustment to ensure optimal clearance and routing. Performing this check helps
support reliable cooling system operation and avoids potential contact with nearby
components.
The update consists of a visual inspection and, when applicable, repositioning of the terminal.
VEHICLES INVOLVED: GranTurismo (M189), GranCabrio (M190) MY24 MY25
We remind you that all the Rapid Updates must be performed within the first workshop visit,
regardless of the Mandatory setting set in Modis, as required by Maserati policies.
Also, for vehicles in Stock Dealer / PDI, it is necessary to carry out all action operations before
delivery to the end customer, as required by the White Book and explicitly reported in the Predelivery checklist.

Access the Junction Node Box

Open the engine hood.
Locate the junction node box mounted on the right front shock tower (RHT dome).

Inspect Terminal Orientation

Correct Configuration: Terminal wiring is routed cleanly, seated properly, and clear of adjacent
components. No further action is needed. Release the vehicle (Figure 1).
Adjustment Needed: Terminal appears to be flipped (Figure 2) or in contact with surrounding components.

Disconnect the battery following TechDocs procedure (8.20.001).
Remove the retaining nut.
Flip the terminal over so that it is seated properly as per Figure 1.
Install a new nut and torque to specification.
Reinstall all other components as needed.
Final Verification
Ensure secure fitment and routing, double check fan operation.
Proceed with vehicle release.
