This bulletin supersedes Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 08-218-25, date of issue July 18, 2025, which
should be removed from your files. All revisions are highlighted with **asterisks** and include a
corrected build date and updated LOP Descriptions.
This Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) has also been released as a Rapid Service Update (RSU) 25-139,
date of issue July 18, 2025. All applicable RSU VINs have been loaded. To verify this RSU service
action is applicable to the vehicle, use VIP or perform a VIN search in DealerCONNECT/Service Library.
All repairs are reimbursable within the provisions of warranty.

DIAGNOSIS:
If a customer’s VIN is listed in VIP or your RSU VIN list, perform the repair. If any vehicle not on the VIN list
exhibits any of the symptom listed above in the customer symptom section, perform the Repair Procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Is the vehicle on the RSU VIN list?

● YES >>> Proceed to Step 2.
● NO >>> This bulletin does not apply.
Start the vehicle.
Activate the left turn signal.
Turn the steering wheel all the way to the left stop, then back to the center position and observe the
automatic return of the turn signal lever.
Activate the right turn signal.
Turn the steering wheel all the way to the right stop, then back to the center position and observe the
automatic return of the turn signal lever.
Did either the left or right turn signals when activated, not automatically return, or cancel?

● YES >>> This bulletin is complete. Use Inspect LOP (08-19-27-94) to close this active RSU.
● NO >>> Proceed to Step 8.
8. Replace the turn signal lever. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/
Service Library under: 5550A12 - Comando Indicadores de Direção - Remoção/Recolocação para
Veículos com Air Bag.
NOTE: After applying this TSB, it is not necessary to send DID-I or DID-A.
