It includes updated diagnostic procedures. Please discard all previous versions.

Certain Maserati Grecale (M182) MY23, MY24, MY25 listed in MODISCS+ are involved in a Rapid
Update to update the software in several modules to improve electrical absorption.
This electric absorption improvement can be reached by updating the following modules all in
one shot:
▪ BCM (Body Control Module)
▪ RFHM (Radio Frequency HUB Module)
▪ SLML (Smart Lighting Module Right)
▪
SLMR (Smart Lighting Module Left)
We remind you that all the Rapid Updates must be performed within the first workshop visit,
regardless of the Mandatory setting set in Modis, as required by Maserati policies.
Also, for vehicles in Stock Dealer / PDI, it is necessary to carry out all action operations before
delivery to the end customer, as required by the White Book and explicitly reported in the Predelivery checklist.

TECHNICAL SERVICE OPERATIONS

NOTE: The claim submission is a self-declaration that all 4 modules listed are updated at the SE closure.

Technical Procedure
All images shown in this bulletin are for illustrative purposes only.
1. Always check ModisCS+ to see if the vehicle is involved in this action and if it has not been
previously performed.
2.

Please ensure the following preconditions are met before starting:
a. Battery voltage > 12.5V (It is recommended to always use the E-XTEQ MAXIMUS to maintain
minimum voltage and current draw requirements).
b. Key ON and Engine OFF
c. Vehicle parked.

3.

Using MD-EVO, perform software updates on the 4 ECUs below:
▪
From ECU View, select the BCM – ECU programming
▪
From ECU View, select the RFHM – ECU programming
▪
From ECU View, select the SLML – ECU programming
▪
From ECU View, select the SLMR – ECU programming

4.

After completing the software updates on all ECUs, perform BCM – Procedures – PROXI Alignment.

5.

After the PROXI alignment, only for BEV vehicles, please follow the following procedures:
▪

Perform APM – ACTIVE DIAGNOSIS – Hard Reset (BEV Vehicles ONLY!)

▪

Close the MDEVO application and disconnect the MDVCI2

▪

Disconnect the 12V Battery Maintainer from the 12V Battery

▪

Perform the Key OFF

▪

Make sure that the hood, the trunk, and all the doors are properly closed

▪

Wait for the power latch (wait until the dashboard clock turns off)
NOTE: Allow the car to sleep for ten minutes

6.

▪

Reconnect the 12V Battery Maintainer to the 12V Battery

▪

Perform the Key ON

▪

Reconnect the MDVCI2, restart the MDEVO application, and clear DTCs from the ECU View.

▪

Perform the Ignition Cycle (Key OFF and Key ON)

▪

IMPORTANT! Verify that the vehicle goes into ready mode (BEV vehicles ONLY!)

Procedure complete.
