*Improved software is released with version 3.5.14. Perform a software upgrade according to
TJ 31543 before fault tracing further.
*The camshaft should only be replaced if the sleeve is axially locked. Compare with the attached file,
OK: TJ_36920_1.MOV, NOK: TJ_36920_2.MOV
*Wear on the outside of the camshaft is not a reason to replace the part. Compare with the attached
file TJ_36920_1.PNG.
*If VVT pulley seems to be loose or has free play, this is not a reason to replace the part. Compare
with the attached file TJ_36920_3.mp4.
*If VIDA symptom-based fault tracing leads to the replacement of parts, follow the updated method
in Vida/ Information/ Product Fix Bulletins/ 21 Engine/ 215 Transmission/ Camshaft bushing
Note: Only hand tools should be used according to VIDA method, otherwise parts can be damaged.
