Cause:

The customer complains about a lowered chassis on the front axle and lighting up of one of the following
warning messages in the instrument cluster:

Action:

Yellow warning message "Chassis system malfunction, adapt driving style, visit workshop"
Yellow warning message "Vehicle extremely low, wait for readiness to drive, do not drive off"
Red warning message "Chassis system not ready for operation, stop vehicle safely"

If there is a customer complaint, check front air spring struts and, if there is a leak at the plastic welded seam
on one of the two air spring struts, replace front air spring struts (left and right) both once.

Information
General information for carrying out the leak test
•

Use a water/dishwashing liquid emulsion for carrying out the leak test.

•

The following fluid mixture makes an ideal water emulsion: 6 drops of commercially available dishwashing liquid mixed in 1 liter / 0.26 gal of tap water.

•

Fill water emulsion into a suitable spray bottle.
