This bulletin applies to vehicles built on or after November 27, 2024
(MDH 1127XX) and on or before November 29, 2024 (MDH 1129XX)
equipped with a 400V G2500 FR/RR Elec Drive Motors (Sales Code
ELD), Power Seat Back Massage - FRT Pass (Sales Code CE5) and
Power Seat Back Massage - Driver (Sales Code CE9).

The vehicle must exhibit/set the following Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC):
● B1D60-00 - Front Seat Identification Circuit.
NOTE: There is no Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination accompanying this DTC.
Customers may also comment on the following:
● The seat massage lumbar and bolsters are inoperable.

CAUSE:

Manufacturing issue

This Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) has also been released as a Rapid Service Update (RSU) 25-104,
date of issue June 04, 2025. All applicable RSU VINs have been loaded. To verify this RSU service
action is applicable to the vehicle, use VIP or perform a VIN search in DealerCONNECT/Service Library.
All repairs are reimbursable within the provisions of warranty.
REPAIR SUMMARY:
This bulletin involves performing a Seat Massage Module Driver (SMMD) and Seat Massage Module
Passenger (SMMP) self-tests.

DIAGNOSIS:
Using a Scan Tool (wiTECH) with the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures available in DealerCONNECT/
Service Library, verify all related systems are functioning as designed. If DTC or symptom conditions, other
than the ones listed above are present, record the issues on the repair order and repair as necessary before
proceeding further with this bulletin.
If a customer’s VIN is listed in VIP or your RSU VIN list, perform the repair. If any vehicle not on the VIN list
exhibits any of the symptom listed above in the customer symptom section, perform the Repair Procedure.
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Using wiTECH, perform the Seat Massage Module Driver (SMMD) and Seat Massage Module Passenger
(SMMP) self-test Fig. 1.

2. Clear all DTCs that may have been set.
3. Perform an "On" then "Off" ignition cycle to ensure DTC B1D60-00 is no longer active.
