This bulletin applies to B1 vehicles built on and after July 10, 2024
(MDH 0710XX) and on or before January 30, 2025 (MDH 0130XX)
equipped one of the following:
● **1.3L I4 Turbo MAir DI Engine (Sales Code EYH).**
● 1.3L I4 Turbo MAir DI Engine w/ESS (Sales Code EYF).
● 1.3L I4 Turbo Mair DI Eng w/ESS E100 (Sales Code EYJ).
This bulletin applies to H1 vehicles built on and after July 09, 2024
(MDH 0709XX) and on or before January 14, 2025 (MDH 0114XX)
equipped with one of the following:
● **1.3L I4 Turbo MAir DI Engine (Sales Code EYH).**
● 1.3L I4 Turbo MAir DI Engine w/ESS (Sales Code EYF).
● 1.3L I4 Turbo Mair DI Eng w/ESS E100 (Sales Code EYJ).
This bulletin applies to M1 vehicles built on and after July 09, 2024
(MDH 0709XX) and on or before January 07, 2025 (MDH 0107XX)
equipped with one of the following:
● **1.3L I4 Turbo MAir DI Engine (Sales Code EYH).**
● 1.3L I4 Turbo MAir DI Engine w/ESS (Sales Code EYF).
● 1.3L I4 Turbo Mair DI Eng w/ESS E100 (Sales Code EYJ).

This bulletin supersedes Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 07-002-25 REV. A, date of issue May 02,
2025, which should be removed from your files. All revisions are highlighted with **asterisks** and
include a new sales codes and a new Repair Procedure note.
This Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) has also been released as a Rapid Service Update (RSU) 25-063,
date of issue April 15, 2025. All applicable RSU VINs have been loaded. To verify this RSU service
action is applicable to the vehicle, use VIP or perform a VIN search in DealerCONNECT/Service Library.
All repairs are reimbursable within the provisions of warranty.
REPAIR SUMMARY:
This bulletin involves inspecting and, if necessary, replacing the thermostatic valve gasket.

DIAGNOSIS:
If a customers VIN is listed in VIP or your RSU VIN list, and a coolant leak from the thermostatic valve is
verified, perform the repair. If any vehicle not on the VIN list exhibits any of the symptom listed above in the
customer symptom section, perform the Diagnosis procedure.
1. If equipped, remove the under engine protection cover. Refer to the detailed service procedures available
in DealerCONNECT/Service Library under: Service Info> 7055B54 - Under Engine Protection - Removal/
Replacement.
2. Start the vehicle and raise the coolant temperature to 90 °C (194 °F).

3. Inspect the thermostatic valve and it surrounding area for evidence of leaking coolant Fig. 1.

4. Was there a coolant leak found Fig. 2?

● YES>>> Proceed to Step 1 of the Repair Procedure.
● NO>>> Use Inspection LOP (07-40-10-91) to close the active RSU and proceed to Step 5.
5. If equipped, install the under engine protection cover. Refer to the detailed service procedures available
in DealerCONNECT/Service Library under: Service Info> 7055B54 - Under Engine Protection - Removal/
Installation.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
NOTE: Respect the safety and cleaning instructions: for all interventions.
1. Remove the thermostatic valve and replace the thermostatic valve gasket Fig. 3. Refer to the detailed
service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/Service Library under: Service Info> 1088C40 Thermostatic Valve - Removal/Replacement - Including necessary procedures.
