Condition

The following TSB describes the specific flashing procedure that must be used on the vehicle.

It is important to make sure that the updates are performed in the correct order, which means that all

previous combined software updates (open field campaigns) must have been completed first!

The following complaints are resolved with this software update:

+ PSS 2076787 - 90 PSS Warning message about high-voltage electrical system; U014600, U112100, U041200
+ PSS 2077108 - 69 PSS Postpone repair: rear occupant detection / alarm "unintentional triggering of

horn/flashing lights"

Service

Follow all instructions in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM), operating instructions.

Applies to vehicles with high-voltage components:
To prevent the high-voltage battery from charging during the software update, the high-voltage charging
cable on vehicles with high-voltage components must be unplugged BEFORE the SVM code is entered.
Please note that charging the high-voltage battery during a software update can cause damage to the
high-voltage components.

Updating control units

Please read the following information carefully.

The total duration of the combined software update is approx. 1 hour.

+ The driver’s door must remain open for the duration of the flashing procedure.

+ Before entering each code, check whether the current date/time is displayed in the vehicle. If not, move the
vehicle to a location where there is GPS reception, or set the date and time manually. Otherwise, an update
will not be possible, or it will be aborted.

+ Please activate privacy mode (mobile data off).

+ Please switch off the background lighting in the HMI to prevent negative interference.

+ Please switch the light switch to the “off” position.

+ Only keep one vehicle key inside the vehicle. The key must be placed on the hazard warning lights switch.

+ The sunroof (if fitted) must be closed.

+ No additional/other work may be performed on the vehicle for the entire duration of the update.

Officially, the firewall settings which correspond to the latest release notes of the current ODIS version always apply.

Please inform the customer that privacy mode is deactivated automatically after the software update and
may need to be reactivated.

In isolated cases, the existing key user may be deleted at the end of the software update. In such cases,

please inform the customer that the key user needs to be added again; the username and password are

required for this purpose.

Important

* Connect battery charger unit as instructed in TSB 2011732: 00 Software Version Management (SVM),
operating instructions.

+ Switch off electrical equipment (blower, seat heater, lights, etc.).

+ Move selector lever to P.

* Connect diagnostic tester to vehicle with USB cable.

Diagnostic tester version 24.3.0 or later is absolutely essential.

We strongly recommend flashing using a USB cable. This ensures that data transmission is as reliable as
possible.

Infrastructure mode is not permissible as it is very prone to interference/errors.

Performing software update

The driver’s door must remain open for the duration of the flashing procedure.

+ If the flashing procedure is interrupted, please always retry the SVM code.

+ If this is unsuccessful, please refer to the instructions provided in the assistance document attached to the
campaign description.

. Diagnostic tester version 24.3.0 or later is absolutely essential.

+ The progress bar may remain at 0% for a long time at the beginning of the update and only move further after
about 10 — 15 minutes.

For the Q6 e-tron and all future Audi models, you must ensure that port 8080 on your diagnostic device is enabled

for incoming TCP connections.

The actual configuration is shown in a table under "Remedy".

Please contact your local IT administrator regarding anything above.

If you have any support-related queries, please contact ODIS service support.

+ Select "flash".

+ Select “SVM code input’.

+ Perform software update with SVM code BLQ6281101KULTPI.

Notes

+ Please switch the ignition off and on again after performing the update (before exiting diagnosis).

+ When quitting the program, send flash log (online).

Notes

+ Please then perform a bus sleep cycle of at least 5 minutes (please close all doors and hood).

+ Please perform a road test/calibration drive at a speed above 25 mph.

+ Please then erase the entire event memory and perform initialization of the sunroof / sun blind (if fitted) using
Guided Fault Finding.

+ Please then check the tire pressures and initialize (i.e. store) these again.

+ Deactivate privacy mode again.

If there are any complications during the software update, please refer to the assistance document attached

to this TSB first.

Warranty

The warranty accounting instructions for performing the combined software update are provided in the TSBs for the

individual complaints (see above).
