Summary
Certain 2020-2025MY Palisade (LX2) vehicles may experience abnormal seat belt buckle(s) operation. Follow the procedure in this TSB to inspect the concerning seat belt buckle(s) for abnormal symptoms with buckle insertion, ejection feeling, sound, or potential debris that influences operation. If any of the above symptoms are found, replace the seat belt buckle(s). Hyundai
is extending warranty coverage for the seat belt buckle under this condition to 15 years/150,000 miles from the date of original retail delivery or date of first use (whichever occurs first) and is valid for original and subsequent owners. Please note that any vehicles under 15 years/150,000 miles are covered by this TSB, even if vehicle is within original warranty of 5 years/60,000 miles.

Description: Certain 2020-2025MY Palisade (LX2) vehicles may experience abnormal seat belt
buckle(s) operation.
Follow the procedure in this TSB to inspect the concerning seat belt buckle(s) for abnormal symptoms
with buckle insertion, ejection feeling, sound, or potential debris that influences operation. If any of the
above symptoms are found, replace the seat belt buckle(s).
Hyundai is extending warranty coverage for the seat belt buckle under this condition to 15 years/150,000

a campaign claim type. Please note that any vehicles under 15 years/150,000 miles are covered by
this TSB, even if the vehicle is within original warranty of 5 years/60,000 miles.
NOTE 2: If the vehicle has multiple “Inspection ONLY” claims submitted for various rows, the claims
are subject to a post claim review process.
NOTE 3: If a part that is not covered by this TSB is found in need of replacement while performing the
service procedure, and the affected part is still under warranty, submit a separate claim using the
same repair order. If the affected part is out of warranty, submit a Prior Approval request for goodwill
consideration prior to performing the work.
NOTE 4: This TSB includes repair justification photos. Op times include VIN, Mileage and Repair
justification photos as outlined in the Digital Documentation Policy.
NOTE 5: The incident parts are subject to callback through the normal Warranty Technical Center
