CUSTOMER
SYMPTOM:

Customers must experience a Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illumination and the vehicle must
exhibit/set one or more of the following Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs):
● P0133 - O2 Sensor 1/1 Slow Response.
● P2251 - O2 Sensor 1/1 Negative Current Control Circuit/Open.
● P0131 - O2 Sensor 1/1 Circuit Low.
● P2626 - O2 Sensor 1/1 Pump Cell Current Trim Circuit/Open.
● P0607 - ECU Internal Performance.
● C140A - Transfer Case Motor Control.
● P02EE - Cylinder 1 injector Circuit Performance.
● P02EF - Cylinder 2 injector Circuit Performance.
● P02F0 - Cylinder 3 Injector Circuit Performance.
● P02F1 - Cylinder 4 Injector Circuit Performance.
● U0109 - Lost Communication With Fuel Pump Control Module.
● P0330 - Knock Sensor 2 Circuit.
● P023B - Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump "A" Control Circuit Low.
● P2110 - Electronic Throttle Control - Forced Limited RPM.
Customers may also experience one or more of the following:
● **The electronic throttle inspection required indicator illuminates on the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC).**
● Seatbelt warning light and warning sound do not go off even when the passenger seat belt is fastened.
● Coolant leak from under the long life coolant reserve tank.
● Fuel cap strap broken.
● Door not opening / hard to open for both right side doors.
● Lumber switch inoperative.
● Right front seat cover stitch is tore out.
● Header seal deformation.

Manufacturing issue

This bulletin supersedes Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) 23-019-25, date of issue April 22, 2025, which
should be removed from your files. All revisions are highlighted with **asterisks** and includes an
update to Vehicles Affected and an additional customer symptom.
This Technical Service Bulletin (TSB) has also been released as a Rapid Service Update (RSU) 25-069,
date of issue April 22, 2025. All applicable RSU VINs have been loaded. To verify this RSU service
action is applicable to the vehicle, use VIP or perform a VIN search in DealerCONNECT/Service Library.
All repairs are reimbursable within the provisions of warranty.

DIAGNOSIS:
Using a Scan Tool (wiTECH) with the appropriate Diagnostic Procedures available in DealerCONNECT/
Service Library, verify all related systems are functioning as designed. If DTCs or symptom conditions, other
than the ones listed above are present, record the issues on the repair order and repair as necessary before
proceeding further with this bulletin.
If a customers VIN is listed in VIP or your RSU VIN list, perform the repair. If any vehicle not on the VIN list
exhibits any of the symptom listed above in the customer symptom section, perform the Repair Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
1. Do the seatbelt warning light and warning sound not turn off even when the passenger seat belt is
fastened?
● YES>>> Proceed to Step 2.
● NO>>> Proceed to Step 3.
2. Replace the rear seat belt buckle. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/
Service Library under: Service Info> 10 - Restraints / Buckle, Seat Belt / Removal and Installation.
3. Do either right front or right rear door not open?
● YES>>> Proceed to Step 4.
● NO>>> Proceed to Step 5.
4. Replace the right front and rear door latch. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in
DealerCONNECT/Service Library under: Service Info> 23 - Body / Doors - Front or Rear / Latch, Door /
Removal and Installation.
5. Does the vehicle set DTC P0330 - Knock Sensor 2 Circuit?
● YES>>> Proceed to Step 6.
● NO>>> Proceed to Step 7.
6. Replace the knock sensor. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/Service
Library under: Service Info> 09 - Engine, 3.6L / Engine Sensors / Removal and Installation.
7. Does the power seat lumbar switch operate?
● YES>>> Proceed to Step 9.
● NO>>> Proceed to Step 8.
8. Replace the lumbar switch. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/Service
Library under: Service Info> 08 - Electrical / 8N - Power Systems / Power Seats / Switch, Seat / Removal
and Installation.
9. Does the front left seat back cover have stitches tearing out?
● YES>>> Proceed to Step 10.
● NO>>> proceed to Step 11.
10. Replace the left front seat back cover. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in
DealerCONNECT/Service Library under: Service Info> 23 - Body / Seats, First Row / Cover, Seat Back /
Removal and Installation.

11. Is the header weatherstrip deformed?
● YES>>> Proceed to Step 12.
● NO>>> Proceed to Step 13.
12. Replace the header weatherstrip. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/
Service Library under: Service Info> 23 - Body / Weatherstrip / Seals / Weatherstrip, Header, Roof /
Removal and Installation.
13. Is the fuel cap tether strap broken?
a. YES>>> Proceed to Step 14.
b. NO>>> Proceed to Step 16.
14. Remove the fuel cap tether strap fastener securing the strap to the fuel door housing Fig. 1.

15. Replace the fuel cap tether strap and the fuel cap assembly.
16. Is there a coolant leak from the coolant bottle?
● YES>>> Proceed to Step 17.
● NO>>> Proceed to Step 18.
17. Replace the coolant bottle. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/Service
Library under: Service Info> 09 - Engine, 3.6L / Cooling System / Engine Cooling / Bottle, Coolant /
Removal and Installation.
18. Does the vehicle any of the following DTCs?
● P0133 - O2 Sensor 1/1 Slow Response.
● P2251 - O2 Sensor 1/1 Negative Current Control Circuit/Open.
● P0131 - O2 Sensor 1/1 Circuit Low.
● P2626 - O2 Sensor 1/1 Pump Cell Current Trim Circuit/Open.
● YES>>> Proceed to Step 19.
● NO>>> Proceed to Step 20.
19. Replace the upstream oxygen sensor. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in
DealerCONNECT/Service Library under: Service Info> 09 - Engine, 3.6L / Engine Sensors / Removal and
Installation.

20. Does the vehicle set P023B - Charge Air Cooler Coolant Pump "A" Control Circuit Low?
● YES>>> Proceed to Step 21.
● NO>>> Proceed to Step 22.
21. Replace the low temperature auxiliary coolant pump. Refer to the detailed service procedures available
in DealerCONNECT/Service Library under: Service Info> 09 - Engine, 3.6L / Cooling System / Low
Temperature Cooling System / Pump, Coolant / Removal and Installation.
22. Does the vehicle set any of the following DTCs?
● U0109 - Lost Communication With Fuel Pump Control Module.
● P02EE - Cylinder 1 injector Circuit Performance.
● P02EF - Cylinder 2 injector Circuit Performance.
● P02F0 - Cylinder 3 Injector Circuit Performance.
● P02F1 - Cylinder 4 Injector Circuit Performance.
● P0607 - ECU Internal Performance.
● C140A - Transfer Case Motor Control.
● YES>>> Proceed to Step 23.
● NO>>> Proceed to Step 24.
23. Replace the Powertrain Control Module (PCM). Refer to the detailed service procedures available in
DealerCONNECT/Service Library under: Service Info> 08 - Electrical / 8E - Electronic Control Modules /
Module, Powertrain Control (PCM) / Removal and Installation.
24. Does the vehicle set DTC P2110 - Electronic Throttle Control - Forced Limited RPM?
● YES>>> Proceed to Step 25.
● NO>>> Proceed to Step 26.
25. Replace the throttle body. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT/Service
Library under: Service Info> 09 - Engine / Air Intake System / Throttle Body / Removal and Installation.
26. Clear DTCs.
