Cause
Potential Electric Engine Coolant Pump Connection Issue
Correction:
Some customers may comment that the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) is Illuminated
with DTC U0672 set current or in history.
Check for and correct any related wiring contamination, terminal tension, crimp, or
lock issues as needed.
If no issues are isolated during the harness inspections, cycle the Electric Engine Coolant
Pump connection and clear the U0672.
If the code resets post Electric Engine Coolant Pump connection inspections and cycling,
follow Global Service Information diagnostics to isolate and repair the issue.
If the code does not reset, release the vehicle to the customer and advise that GM is aware
of this issue.
