follow the steps below.
Start by following this journal before any VIDA fault tracing or parts replacement.
The DTC ECM P0DF400 can be misdetected and cause a message in DIM stating, “Propulsion
System Service Required”.
•
If the vehicle is drivable and the turtle light is not on in the DIM, do not replace any parts, clear
the DTCs, and release the vehicle to the customer.
•
If the vehicle has a turtle symbol active in the DIM follow the steps below:
1. Erase DTCs.
2. Let the vehicle go to usage mode “Abandoned” - this can take up to a minimum of 20 minutes.
3. Start the engine and let it idle for 3 minutes.
4. Perform a new VIDA readout.
If the DTC ECM P0DF400 doesn’t return, do not replace any parts. Release the vehicle to the
customer.
If the DTC returns please contact Retailer Technical Support through your normal process. See
instructions under “Vehicle Report”.
Work is ongoing, and improved SW is planned for 2025 quarter 1.
