This bulletin informs of the availability of the SYN3 New Improved Formula, a dual weight SAE 15W50 / SAE 50 Motorcycle Oil.
The new formula transitions into inventory as the old SYN3 20W50 product inventory is depleted. Availability varies by SKU and
region. The original SYN3 20W50 will be obsoleted when the transition is complete.

Summary
The purpose of this bulletin is to inform you about the availability of the SYN3 New Improved Formula, a dual weight SAE
15W50/SAE 50 Motorcycle Oil. The new formula transitions into inventory as the old SYN3 20W50 product inventory is depleted.
Availability varies by SKU and region. The original SYN3 20W50 will be obsoleted when the transition is complete.
No product shortages or delays are expected, as we have inventory of the new SYN3 formula on hand to fill as soon as old SYN3
formula is depleted. Orders will automatically supersede to the new part numbers. See the tables below for estimated availability
by part number and the new bulk conversion part numbers.
The retail bottle designs have limited changes to the front label, making it easy to identify the SYN3 product customers usually
reach for. The front label shows the dual weight SAE 15W50/SAE 50 and the New Improved Formula circle. This helps convey
the full backward compatibility of the new formula. The back label begins with the statement of backward compatibility and lists
key improvements with the new formula. See images of the product labels below.
As this product arrives at your dealership, we recommend you sell and use the old SYN3 product first. When the old SYN3 has
been thoroughly depleted, re-stock the new SYN3 in its place. This will ensure sell through of the old packaging as quickly as
possible and create a more visually appealing presentation. Try to maintain only one version of SYN3 on the shelf to avoid
confusion. Another way to rotate out the old SYN3 is to shift use to service operations, allowing you to bring new SYN3 into retail
sooner. There is no change to the recommended service intervals.
