This bulletin informs dealers that starting on April 30, 2024, all
Center-Cooled touring vehicles will be assembled with new
components engineered to help improve purging air from the
cooling system.
• Before March 12, 2024 all vehicles were built with the early
system.

• After April 30, 2024 all vehicles were built with the late
design.

Direct Replacement
Replace entire original coolant
system with the Later and Updated cooling system.
See Table 3 and Figure 2.

Required Dealer Action

These parts will be listed separately in the parts catalog labeled
as Early and Later models with an applicability date noted. Do
not mix the components used in Early and Later Models. They
are not interchangeable. Should Early Model components
become unavailable in the future, see the Parts Catalog and
Parts Price File for supersession information.

Early parts will continue to be supplied as long as they are still
available and have not gone obsolete. Continue to use early
parts on early vehicles in Table 2.

All markets affected.

Part Numbers

If any part that has gone obsolete in Table 2, then the entire
coolant system assembly must be replaced with the later
version. See Table 3 and Figure 2.

• The radiator outlet fitting location was changed from low to
high.
• The coolant pump bracket was changed to lower the overall
pump position. This improves the purging and helps any air
pockets that could be trapped at the inlet of the coolant pump
to move upward into the radiator.
• The coolant hose that goes from the coolant pump to the
rear head inlet has improved geometry and no longer
contains a union fitting.
Both early and later parts are depicted in the parts catalog. Use
the parts catalog to identify the correct replacement part.
