Concerns:

Processing of accompanying actions for implementation of recall campaign APA3.

Cause:

Expenses and costs for vehicle handling and transport are generally invoiced via the present workshop
campaign WRH8 and the replacement of the axle-link components takes place via the recall campaign
APA3.

Service Level:

The APA3 recall campaign may only be carried out by Porsche Centers that have the necessary tools and
appropriately trained and qualified personnel.
Prerequisite for carrying out the APA3 campaign:
•

Porsche Centers with a Carrera GT Service Level 2 and personnel appropriately trained on Carrera GT

or
•
Action:

Porsche Centers with a certified Porsche technician - Gold with completed chassis training and
“active” status

Against the above background, there are different constellations with which scope the recall campaign APA3
and the workshop campaign WRH8 must be invoiced.
The assigned Porsche Center is also authorized to carry out the necessary work to replace the axle-strut
components (scope of recall campaign APA3) (the responsible Porsche Center is the same as the implementing Porsche Center):

APA3: Invoicing for campaign scope 1 or 2 – depending on the respectively installed push rod (pressure
rod)

The following overviews show the respective contents of the campaign scopes for the APA3 and WRH8 and
in which configuration they must be invoiced.
The assigned Porsche Center is also the implementing Porsche Center

If the vehicle was not shipped to the Porsche Center, or the PC did not pay for the transport to and from the
PC, then WRH8 can be closed for $0 by marking the Campaign as Not Feasible and selecting the Warranty
Relevant box, which will generate a $0 WRH8 claim. Please note that it is okay for the customer to pick up
the vehicle after performing APA3 and drive home from the PC, but PCNA strongly recommends against
driving to the PC before APA3 has been carried out.
