The following extended warranty applies for Porsche Cayenne Diesel vehicles that are modified as part of
the Emissions Recall AG01.
Extended warranty "Extended Emissions Warranty"
The extended warranty applies for all Cayenne model year 2013-2016 vehicles with a 3.0-liter V6 diesel
engine (engine type CNRB) that are modified as part of the Emissions Recall AG01.
Warranty period
The warranty period of the extended warranty for emission parts is the longer of each of the periods specified
below:
1) 10 years or 193,000 km/120,000 mls (depending on which comes first) as from the new vehicle delivery
date or
2) 4 years or 77,000 km/48,000 mls (depending on which comes first) as from the date and mileage
recorded when the exhaust system was modified, in order to bring affected vehicles into regulatory
compliance.
The new vehicle delivery date is the date on which the vehicle was handed over either to the original owner
or lessee, or the date on which the vehicle was used for the first time as a demonstration vehicle or company
vehicle.
Transferability
This extended warranty is fully transferable to future owners of the vehicle.
Extended warranty cover
The extended warranty "Extended Emissions Warranty" consists of two parts: Extended warranty for the
exhaust gas cleaning system and for engine components.

Extended warranty for exhaust gas cleaning system: The extended warranty for the exhaust gas
cleaning system covers all components that are replaced as part of the Emissions Recall AG01 and all
components that may be affected in any way by the modification to the exhaust system, including the
on-board diagnostic (OBD) system and all malfunctions detected by the OBD system. You will find a
detailed list of the parts and systems covered by the extended warranty in the table "Extended warranty
for exhaust gas cleaning system" under ⇒ Technical Information 'Parts covered by the "Extended

Extended warranty for engine components: The extended warranty for engine components covers the
engine sub-groups, consisting of the assembled engine block, crankshaft, cylinder head, camshafts
and valve drive. You will find a complete list of the parts covered by the extended warranty in the table
"Extended warranty for engine components" under ⇒ Technical Information 'Parts covered by the
"Extended Emissions Warranty" - Cayenne Diesel' in this Technical Information.
Parts not covered by this extended warranty
This extended warranty does not cover:
•
Any damage or malfunctions caused by the installation of emissions-related components not certified
by EPA or CARB. These include damage or malfunctions on parts that were installed for the purpose of
diagnosing parts covered by the extended warranty.
•
Damage or malfunctions caused by external influences, such as damage as a result of an accident,
incorrect use or neglect of the vehicle.
Restrictions on cover of the extended warranty
The warranty and service information in the vehicle includes information about the warranty conditions for
your vehicle. The owner should always read these warranty conditions carefully as the rights and obligations
listed there also apply for the extended warranty.
Entitled vehicles
To check whether the extended warranty applies for a vehicle on which the exhaust system was modified as
part of the Emission Recall AG01, enter the vehicle identification number (VIN) of the vehicle in the PIWIS
information system > Vehicle identification > Identification via VIN. If the extended warranty applies for the
vehicle, the warranty types and warranty periods will be displayed in the "Vehicle information" view under
"Warranty data" in the PIWIS information system.
Warranty claim type
In order to invoice warranty claims made under the "Extended Emissions Warranty", the claim must be coded
as Warranty claim 111.
