Condition

Customer States:

There are no keys which have been adapted to the vehicle.

(Example: All vehicle keys were lost)

Workshop Findings:

Anew set of keys or a replacement key is to be initialized for the vehicle.

The immobilizer cannot be adapted. No data can be read from the Electronic Central Electrical control module, J519
(address word 0009) currently installed.

Technical Background

If the vehicle has been locked, it must be unlocked using the keyless access locking and starting system so that
data can be read from the Electronic Central Electrical control module, J519 (address word 0009).

If this is not possible due to no programmed keys being available, the Electronic Central Electrical control module,
J519 (address word 0009) must also be replaced for reasons relating to protection from manipulation.
Production Solution

Not applicable.

If no already programmed keys are available, the Electronic Central Electrical control module, J519 (address word
0009) must also be replaced for reasons relating to protection from manipulation.

Warranty

This damage is due to outside influence and is not covered by any Audi Warranty.
