+ The complaint can be reproduced.

+ The technical cause cannot be determined based on event memory entries.

* Campaign 91VT has been performed on the vehicle with the complaint.

Service

This TSB applies when the customer statement and workshop findings are both apparent.

To ensure that the flashing procedure is not aborted, please ensure that the latest version is installed on
your ODIS tester.

Make sure that a battery charger is connected to the vehicle battery.

To ensure the maximum possible transfer stability, please only perform software updates for control units
using the diagnostic interface -VAS 6154- (Wi-Fi diagnosis head) in USB mode or using -VAS 5055-, which is
connected via a cable. If these devices are not available in your workshop, use -VAS 5054- in USB
connection mode.

Please perform the following steps:

+ Read out event memory and transfer log online.

+ Select “Flash” in ODIS and then “Enter SVM code’.

+ Perform an update with SVM code 8CA012.
+ When quitting the program, send flash log (online)
+ Read out event memory AND all measured values from diagnostic address 008C, then send log online.
Then create a TAC Web ticket.

allows the internal department to identify the connection to this TSB quickly.
