A) Lifting and vibrating of sealing lip of rear roof paneling (EPC item 65/015/310) on outer left and right, at the contact surface with the end cap of the drip rail (EPC item 69/060/250) B) Lifting and vibrating of sealing lip of rear roof paneling (EPC item 65/015/310) in the center of the vehicle (Y=0), at the contact surface with the rear fixed element of the panoramic sliding sunroof (EPC item 78/150/550) Identification of source of noise by masking off of (Picture II): A) Joint between drip rail (EPC item 69/060/250), rear roof paneling (EPC item 65/015/300) and rear fixed element of panoramic sliding sunroof (EPC item 78/150/550) B) Joint between sealing lip of rear roof paneling (EPC item 65/015/310) and rear fixed element of panoramic sliding sunroof (EPC item 78/150/550), with approx. 5 cm-long adhesive strip - CAUTION: Sealing lip is very sensitive, do not damage! Remedy A1) Sealing lip (EPC item 65/015/310) is mounted OVER the end cap of the drip rail (EPC item 69/060/250) (Picture III): Carefully push sealing lip under the end cap of the drip rail using a wide plastic wedge A2) Sealing lip (EPC item 65/015/310) is mounted UNDER the end cap of the drip rail (EPC item 69/060/250) (Picture III): Trim sealing lip in extension of glass edge of rear fixed element for panoramic sliding sunroof (EPC item 78/150/550) (Picture IV) B) Replace sealing lip (EPC item 65/015/310); to do so, the rear roof paneling (EPC item 65/015/300) must be removed (attempt to remove the rear roof paneling without damaging it; only replace if damaged) NOTE: Before starting the repair, please ensure that the parts are available in the workshop!
