Condition
The customer complains of a MIL in the instrument cluster. The workshop finds one or both of the following codes in
High Voltage Power Electronics at software level 0004:
P060A00 - Control unit – internal fault (00ACC9)
P060C00 - Function restriction (00ACBE)

Technical Background
The aforementioned fault codes can set during or after a driving cycle in E-mode. A MIL can appear sporadically in
relation to these faults.

Service Information
The occurrence of these faults can be remedied with an automatic programming of the HV power electronics control
unit to version 0005 using the PIWIS tester with SW 43.100.016 or newer.
After performing the automatic programming process according to the instructions in PIWIS tester, faults may
appear in the fault memory. Perform a vehicle bus sleep for at least 5 minutes and ensure all subsequent faults have
cleared before returning the vehicle.
