Noises from the Front Left or Right BOSE Mid-Range Speakers when Bass is Activated: Rework

BOSE mid-range speaker, front left or right

Symptom:

Noises from the BOSE mid-range speaker on the front left or right door can be detected when music with
loud bass is played.

Root Cause:

Due to an unfavorable tolerance pairing, the door trim panel and speaker membrane can come into contact
when music with loud bass is played.

Remedial
Action:

If there is a customer complaint, retrofit washers between the BOSE mid-tone speaker and door trim panel.
Information
By retrofitting the washers, the distance between the door trim panel and speaker membrane is increased
ensuring that there is no contact between the components.
