Reason for this document
Issue: An issue has been identified on a small percentage of the affected vehicles where water marks
appear on the roofliner around the A-Pillar area and water accumulation in the footwell.
Cause: Water Accumulation around the drain pipe within the sunroof aperture or panel.
Action: Follow the procedure below.

Remove the Front Roofliner.

Remove the Demister Vent.

Proceed to step 6.

Remove and discard the Sunroof waterdrain pipe.

Only install a new waterdrain pipe if the waterdrain pipe already installed is not the 1piece design.

Install the Sunroof waterdrain pipe.
Install the Sunroof waterdrain pipe behind the A-Pillar handle brackets.

If deformation is not found proceed to step 8.
