Summary
This Preliminary information communicates a vehicle may come to the dealer with a complaint of a Super Cruise Unavailable message. The tech is instructed to check for trouble codes. If any of the codes listed in this PI are found in the Image Processing Control Module the tech is directed to advise the customer that engineering is working on a resolution. If none of the codes listed are found the tech is directed to diagnose the vehicle following SI diagnostics.?

Customers may notice a Super Cruise Unavailable or an Adaptive
Cruise Unavailable message on the DIC.
This could happen immediately upon startup or within 30
minutes of the drive cycle .
This issue may recover after an ignition cycle or it may not.
Technician may find the following DTC's setting in the K124
Image Processing Module (IPCM), see list below.

Dealers are asked to verify the customers concern.
If any of the DTCs listed below are set in history, do not replace the controller.
Refer to SuperCruise Malfunction for further diagnostic information to further root cause
customer’s issue.
