DESCRIPTION:
A new electrical powertrain ERAD / TVDC has been launched in model year 2025.
During the first year of production of this new ERAD, we need to be aware of quality issues as quickly
as possible.
For this reason, CMQ (Volvo Cars Central Quality Organization) must be contacted before performing
any repairs on the ERAD/TVDC unit.
No ERAD/TVDC units shall be opened or replaced without approval or request from the CMQ.
ERAD = Electric Rear Axle Drive

Use the concern area “Vehicle Report Polestar” and the sub-concern area “Support Needed
Polestar” for issues that require fault tracing assistance or a hardware replacement of the ERAD/
TVDC.
Use the sub-concern area “support Not Needed Polestar” for other issues, use function group 4632.
