SUBJECT: Cooling Fan Motor Bolt Retightening in Distributor Warehouse
Dear Sirs and Madams,
This letter is to inform you of Cooling Fan Motor Bolt Retightening for the
following models before retail sale of the stock units in distributor warehouse.
Affected Models
SV650/X, GSX1300R, GSX-S1000/T/X/S, GSX-R600, GSX-R750, DL1050,
DL800/DE, GSX800/F
We were informed that there was a problem in the process of tightening bolts to
install a cooling fan motor at a supplier.
Therefore, Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC) requests you to retighten the Cooling
Fan Motor Bolt of stock units.
You are kindly requested to stop wholesale to this affected units until the
replacement work is done.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause to you. Your kind
understanding and cooperation will be highly appreciated.

3. Warranty Reimbursement Information
Submit the warranty claim applications to SMC under the following terms.
All cost including the any additional costs (ex. space fee, labor cost for forklift,
temporary workers, etc.) will be reimbursed upon your statement or with sublet
on warranty claim applications. Please submit actual cost to SMC.
