Described Condit

Insufficient coolant pipe to frame rail clearance on eCascadia vehicles can rub the coolant pipe, which may result
in excessive chaffing. Use the following directions to adjust the coolant pipe position.

Adjusting the c Pipe Positi

1. Park the vehicle on a level surface, shut down the vehicle and set the parking brake. Chock the tires.
2. Disconnect the batteries at the negative terminals.
3. Open the hood.

4. Check the clearance between the coolant pipe and the frame rail. See Fig. 1.
Is the clearance 3/4-inch (19 mm) or more?

YES — No adjustment is needed.
NO — Go to step 5. See Fig. 2.
5. Loosen the bolt and lift up the coolant pipe. See Fig. 3.
6. Tighten the bolt 11 Ib-ft (15 N-m). See Fig. 4.
7. Verify that the clearance to the rail is at least 3/4-inch (19 mm). See Fig. 5.
8. Connect the battery at the negative terminals.

9. Close the hood.
