Customer states:
From time to time, it is not possible to adjust the
blower setting in the air conditioner operating unit
(lower display). The display may appear as shown in
Figures 1 and 2.

Workshop findings:
The complaint only occurs from time to time and
can generally be resolved by restarting (resetting)
the MMI system.

Software issue in control unit 1 for information electronics (005F).

Model year 2023.

Service
Workaround:
The customer can perform the following steps to restore the correct function of the lower display:

1. Restart the MMI. (refer to “Restarting the MMI” in the Owner's Manual).

2. Press and hold the on/off button for at least 10 seconds until the system restarts.
3. The lower display will function correctly after the restart.

Please postpone the repair as there is currently no effective repair for the complaint described by the
customer.
The software update customer service package 1 for will be distributed in stages according to vehicle
equipment.
The software measure and SVM code for this complaint are currently in development.
Depending on the vehicle type/PR numbers/model year, it is necessary to provide the measures in stages
due to process-related constraints.
The current planning status and available updates can be found in the table in TSB 2076404.

Warranty
There is no reason to replace parts or attempt repairs. Unjustified work/replacement parts will be charged
back. Invoicing under warranty is not permitted.
This TSB is informational only and not applicable to any Audi Warranty.
