Issue: Some 2024 F-Super Duty vehicles built on or before 03-Oct-2024 and equipped with a 6.7L engine may
exhibit an illuminated MIL with DTC P20A5 stored in the PCM. This may be due to the software in the glow dosing
module (GDM) and does not affect vehicle operation. Due to OBD functionality, the GDM may be referred to as the
SOBDMC in the FDRS scan tool. To correct the condition, follow the Service Procedure to reprogram the SOBDMC
using the latest software level of the FDRS scan tool.
Action: Follow the Service Procedure to correct the condition on vehicles that meet all of the following criteria:
• 2024 F-Super Duty
• Built on or before 03-Oct-2024
• 6.7L diesel engine
• Illuminated MIL with DTC P20A5 stored in the PCM
Warranty Status: Eligible under provisions of New Vehicle Limited Warranty (NVLW)/Emissions Warranty/Service
Part Warranty (SPW)/Service Part New Vehicle (SPNV)/Extended Service Plan (ESP) coverage. Limits/policies/prior
approvals are not altered by a TSB. NVLW/Emissions Warranty/SPW/SPNV/ESP coverage limits are determined by
the identified causal part and verified using the OASIS part coverage tool.

1. Reprogram the SOBDMC using the latest software level of the FDRS scan tool.
2. If DTCs P208D, P20FC, P20FD, P20E8, P20FA and/or P249D were present in the PCM in addition to P20A5, refer
to WSM, Section 303-08 for normal diagnostics.
