The window switch fails prematurely due to excessive amperage flowing through the window switch circuit. A new
door harness design has been developed to prevent failures.
Chassis Affected
Certain Peterbilt
Model Year 2014-2024; 365, 367, 388, and 389 chassis.
Action
Fix-As-Fail
If a customer comes into your dealership and demonstrates the condition above, replace the door harnesses,
window switches, and supporting components.
Warranty
Starting from 11/11/2024, through Standard Warranty or any applicable active Extended Warranty, Peterbilt will
pay for parts at dealer net plus applicable mark-up and labor:
• 1.8 hours labor for replacement of driver and passenger door harnesses and window switches, use
recommended repair code 02-194.
• For extraordinary circumstances, file a long form claim and input 02-194 into the "Campaign Code" field.
• Cross-division repairs are not allowed for this campaign.
