WSB-04 Midas Rear Mudflap Installation

Dear Tiffin Motorhome Dealer,

It has come to our attention that certain Midas Motorhomes were built without mudflaps for the rear tire.
Tiffin Motorhomes will have the mudflaps installed as needed.

Owners will be notified by mail about the technical service bulletin and will be instructed to take their motorhome
to a reputable service center OR dealer of their choice to have this update completed. Tiffin Motorhomes is
allowing up to 30 minutes for the installation of the mudflaps.

Please verify the motorhome is involved in this update before beginning the correction. To verify the motorhome
is involved in this technical service bulletin, please visit our website, tiffinmotorhomes.com. Choose the "Dealer
Login" page and click on "Vehicle Recall Lookup" and enter the complete 17-digit VIN number. No login or
password is needed. To view work instructions, please click on "Flat Rate Manual" and choose “Service Bulletins”
for Model and “Wayfarer Service Bulletins” for the Section, scroll down to WSB-04 and click "Show Files" and then
download the work instructions. Parts should be ordered when the appointment for the installation is scheduled
so that parts are ready at the dealership for their appointment.

This technical service bulletin will expire November 1, 2025. Please make sure that this update is completed prior
to this date. Work completed after this date will be done at the customer's expense.

Dear Tiffin Motorhome Owner,

It has come to our attention that certain Midas Motorhomes were built without mudflaps for the rear tire.
Tiffin Motorhomes will have the mudflaps installed as needed.

Please take your motorhome to a service center of your choice to have the correction completed. This
replacement should take 30 minutes or less and will be completed at no charge to you. If you check your
motorhome and both rear mudflaps are installed, no further work is needed. Please contact Tiffin Motorhomes
to have your VIN removed from the service bulletin. You may call 256-356-8661 or email this information to
[email protected]. Please be sure to include your name and at least the last 8 digits of the VIN of
your motorhome, which can be found at the top of this notification.

Alist of Tiffin Motorhomes authorized dealers is available online at https://tiffinmotorhomes.com/service-center-
locations. If you are using a service center that is not a Tiffin Motorhomes authorized repair facility, please make
sure that they contact Tiffin Motorhomes for the required instructions and time allowed for the repair. Tiffin
Motorhomes will not pay over the allowed time unless the repair facility receives prior authorization. For

Technical Service Bulletin Repair Instructions

Tiffin Motorhomes SB# WSB-04

Models Involved: 2022 — 2024 Midas Motorhomes

Purpose: To provide instructions on how to install mudflaps behind the rears wheels to prevent debris
or tother road hazards from damaging any sub-floor body structure.

Tools Needed: Parts Needed:
Impact driver or drill 2 of 5113081, mud flap
# 2 Phillips bit or 42 square bit 8, % 14x1 % TEK screws

8, 3/16 fender washers

FLAT RATE CODES AND TIMES

No additional authorization is required for work completed at the flat rate times stated on the work instructions.
Please list “WSB04" as the authorization on the claim for payment.

When filing the warranty claim for payment, use the following flat rate code 89045800 for 0.50 HRS.

Repair tnstructions

1. Lift unit by placing floor jack under rear OEM frame member allowing axle to drop for more
clearance installing mud flaps.

2. Orient the mud flap so the solid side is towards ground. Note the pre-drilled holes on either side
for easy alignment of fasteners. The holes will align in the vertical direction along the outer leg
structure.

3. Using the drill, fasten mud flap to aluminum body structure using the screws and washers.

4. For the passenger’s side, open the LP compartment located directly behind the rear wheels for
easy access to the aluminum frame that should be used to fasten the mudflap.
