certain Model Year 2011-2018 C-Class, E-Class, S-Class, G-Class, CL, CLS, ML, GL, GLE, GLS, GLC, SL, and AMG GT vehicles with 6 and
8 cylinder gasoline engines, the software of the engine control unit may not meet current specifications. Under certain

included in the affected population of vehicles.
What should you do?
We ask that you please contact an authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer who will update the software on the engine
control unit. This update is provided free of charge under this Emission Service Campaign. We are dedicated to
delivering a best-in-class customer experience, and respect for your time is a top priority. While the update may
take up to 30 minutes, your dealer can provide you with a better estimate of the overall time for this service
visit.

that the vehicle has been repaired under this Service Campaign. The certificate may be required by the Department of
Motor Vehicles as a condition of vehicle registration or operation.
