Condition
Some customers may experience a SES MIL and a possible crank
no start condition. When checking for DTC's a P062B will have
set in the ECM.
Cause
Engineering is still aware of this condition.
Correction:
Engineering is still aware of this condition and after reviewing the issue they have found
that the condition can typically be repaired by the following:
- First follow normal SI diagnostic
- If the condition is not repaired or a root cause is not found, clear all DTCs,
then disconnect the 12 volt battery for several minutes and reconnect.
- In some cases, if this condition is not repaired after following the above
direction then replace the ECM.
Warranty Information
For vehicles repaired under the Bumper-to-Bumper coverage (Canada Base Warranty
coverage), use the appropriate labor operation for the repair being performed. Reference
the Applicable Warranties section of Investigate Vehicle History (IVH) for coverage
information.
