Introduction
Some 2020 – 2024 model year Corolla vehicles may exhibit a vibration or rattle noise from the
right-hand engine mounting insulator sub-assembly. This condition will usually go away when the
engine Revolutions Per Minute (RPM) are above idle. This condition is typically found on vehicles
in warm climates/weather. No Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are associated with this condition.
This condition does not affect the operation of the vehicle. If customers find the condition
objectionable, follow the Repair Procedure in this bulletin to reduce the possibility of this condition.

Repair Procedure
1. Confirm the condition exists.
Does the vehicle exhibit a vibration or rattle noise from the right-hand engine mounting
insulator sub-assembly that usually goes away when the engine RPM are above idle?
YES — Continue to step 2.
NO — This bulletin does NOT apply. Continue diagnosis following the applicable
Repair Manual.
2. Locate the right-hand engine mounting insulator sub-assembly (see Figure 1).

3. Remove the right-hand engine mounting insulator sub-assembly.
Refer to TIS, applicable model and model year Repair Manual:

4. Install the NEW right-hand engine mounting insulator sub-assembly with the part number
provided in the Parts Information table.
