This bulletin only applies to MY 24-25 A3, and MY 24 Q3.
Customer states:
•

The radio stations saved as favorites during the last trip are no longer stored, after the ignition has been
switched off and back on again, or after the vehicle has been parked for an extended period. (In certain
cases, only the frequency 88.3 MHz is displayed).

And / Or
•

The navigation settings are not saved or are lost after the ignition is switched off and back on. (Last
destinations, favorites, etc.).

And / Or
•

The sound settings (e.g., balance / fader) are not saved or are lost after switching the ignition off and
back on.

And / Or
•

The setup wizard is displayed repeatedly even though it has already been completed.

Not yet implemented.

Service
1. Explain to the customer that the implementation of a solution currently being checked and that those
checks are estimated to be completed in December 2024 (subject to change).
2. No repairs are necessary at this point. Do not replace any components for this condition since this will
not resolve the customer’s concern.
3. Create a PSS record in the PSS application through the Pending Service Solutions (PSS) link in
AccessAudi (under Related Links >> Service).

Workaround
You can suggest the following approach to the customer to remedy the complaint:
•

Reset the MMI system to factory settings in the system menu.

To do so, proceed as follows:
On the home screen, select:

Settings >> System Maintenance >> Restore factory settings
Follow the instructions on the screen.
All custom settings will be reset and the MMI system restarted. This may take a couple minutes.

After resetting the system, all settings are restored to factory settings. This also applies to all settings
and device connections stored by the user:
• Navigation destinations
• Cell phones
• WiFi devices
• Key user for Audi connect functions
• Etc.
The desired settings or device connections must now be set up again.
The setup wizard must also be completed again.

This TSB is informational only and not appli

cable to any Audi Warranty.

Replacing parts or attempting repairs will not fix the problem. Unjustified labor / replacement parts
will be charged back. Invoicing under warranty is not permitted.
