The fuel gauge is at 0 miles or under a remaining range of 10km (6.25 miles) and the tank cannot be
filled up to its maximum volume.

Technical Background 1
The remaining range is calculated using the algorithm that takes the operating conditions (average fuel
consumption of the current driving cycle and the previous driving cycles) into account. Additionally, at a
remaining range of 0 miles a reserve is kept so that the customer does not break down at 0 miles (safety
concept).
