In the high-voltage batteries installed ex works in model year 2024 (R), the above-mentioned
components are designed with tin-plated plug contacts. As part of a material change,
the available original parts of the respective components from the warehouse have been
converted to gold-plated plug contacts.
The new components equipped with gold-plated plug contacts must not be used in a mixed installation with the previous tin-plated component statuses in the event of replacement, as otherwise
contact corrosion on the plug contacts can occur due to the different materials.

Action:

If one of the components within the high-voltage battery 2.0 specified in the following section 
Technical Information 'Overview of affected components' is required, replace all affected components
with tin-plated plug contacts with new components with gold-plated plug contacts.
