Confirm the existing installed lubricating oil pan part number is either part number 3958209 or
5682084. Information in this TSB applies to only these two part numbers.
Description of Change
A new lubricating oil pan and lubricating oil pan gasket are available to reduce the risk of
external lubricating oil leaks.
Installation procedures have been updated for the new parts.
Reference the Service Issue column Table 1.
See corresponding Service Manual. Reference Procedure 007-025 in Section 7.
Reason for Change
The new lubricating oil pan and lubricating oil pan gaskets better distribute sealing pressure
across the lubricating oil pan gasket and reduce clamp load loss over time to reduce the risk
of external lubricating oil leaks.
All new products are built with the new lubricating oil pan and lubricating oil pan gasket part
numbers.
