Dear Forest River Customer:
Forest River is alerting you to an issue involving certain 2024 Rockwood RLT8262RBS, RLT8336BH, and Flagstaff
FLT826RBS, FLT832BWS Travel Trailer Recreational Vehicles. Please see the information below, which describes the
issue and provides you with details on the steps you should take to have your vehicle repaired.
WHAT IS THE ISSUE?
The bumper mounted griddle attachment may not work with the supplied griddle. A new attachment will be added to
support the supplied griddle.
OWNERS: WHAT SHOULD YOU DO?
Please contact your dealer immediately and request a service appointment to schedule the free repair. The vehicle
Owner is responsible for arranging to have the work completed. Please state you have been notified by Forest River of
the issue and provide the TSB number (located at the top of this page) to the dealership. It is also helpful to give the
dealership a copy of this letter when you take your vehicle in for the repair.

HOW LONG WILL THE REMEDY PROCESS TAKE?
The estimated repair time is .50 hours. However, the dealership may need to keep your vehicle or schedule an
appointment with you for a later date to fit into their regular service schedule.

Bumper Mount Grill
Arm Modification for
Suburban Griddle

Follow installation instructions are how to modify the bumper
mount grill arm to accept the Suburban Griddle (Part # 4032A)

Part # F100307260:

Griddle Arm
Kit

(1) Swing Arm
(1) Left Hand Griddle Mounting
Bracket
(1) Right Hand Griddle Mounting
Bracket

Tools Required

 (2) 9/16” Wrenches or Sockets
 Flat Head Screwdriver
 Square Head Bit Driver

Step 1
Locate bolt at the pivot point on the swing arm and remove it using the 9/16” wrenches.

Step 2

 Release locking shaft pin and
remove the swing arm.

Step 3

 Remove the locking shaft pin
from the arm using a square
head bit driver.

 Remove the 2 plastic bushings on the top a bottom of
the arm using a flat head screwdriver. Carefully work
around the bushing from different angles to pry it out.

Step 4

Step 5

 Press bushings into new swing arm.

Step 6

 Locate pilot hole on the face
side of the arm and reattach
the locking shaft pin.

Step 7

 Reattach the swing arm to the
bumper mount bracket.

 Attach the new LH & RH brackets to the griddle using the rubber feet
by threading them in- to the same holes they were removed from.
Be sure the tab that will attach to the bumper mount is facing
towards the back of the griddle.

QUEL EST LE PROBLÈME?
Le support de plaque de cuisson monté sur le pare-chocs peut ne pas fonctionner avec la plaque de cuisson fournie. Une nouvelle
attache sera ajoutée pour supporter la plaque de cuisson fournie.

concessionnaire. Il sera aussi utile pour le concessionnaire d'avoir une copie de cette lettre lorsque vous amènerez votre véhicule pour

Combien de temps sera nécessaire pour la correction?
La durée estimée de la réparation est de 0.50 heure. Toutefois, le concessionnaire pourrait devoir conserver le véhicule ou programmer
votre rendez-vous à une date ultérieure pour s'ajuster à son horaire de travail régulier.

Modification du
support de pare-chocs
pour le gril Suburban
Suivez les instructions d'installation pour modifier le support
monté sur le pare-chocs pour adapter le gril SuburbanGriddle
(Pièce # 4032A).

nécessaires

🞄 (2) clés ou douilles de 9/16 po
🞄 Tournevis à tête plate

🞄 Tournevis à tête carrée

Étape 1
Localisez le boulon au point de pivot du bras pivotant et retirez-le à l'aide des clés de 9/16".

Étape 2

🞄 Retirez la goupille de verrouillage
et enlevez le bras

Étape 3

🞄 Enlevez la goupille de
verrouillage du bras à l'aide
du tournevis carré.

🞄 Retirez les deux douilles en plastique situées en haut et
en bas du bras à l'aide d'un tournevis à tête plate.
Travaillez avec précaution autour de la douille sous
différents angles pour l'extraire.

🞄 Pressez les douilles dans le nouveau
bras oscillant.

Étape 6

🞄 Localisez le trou pilote sur le
nouveau bras et fixez-y la
goupille.

Étape 7

🞄 Placez le nouveau bras pivotant
au support de montage du pare-chocs

🞄 Fixez les nouveaux supports gauche et droit à la plaque de cuisson à
l'aide des pattes en caoutchouc en les vissant dans les mêmes trous
que ceux d'où ils ont été retirés.
🞄Veillez à ce que la languette qui se fixe au support du pare-chocs soit
orientée vers l'arrière de la plaque de cuisson.
