Condition
Technicians may find that the vehicle repair requires a purge pump, but the purge pump
part is not available.
Cause
This condition may be caused by the temporary supplier part shortage issue.
Information
New temporary part replacement strategy – Any one of the purge pump part numbers
below can be used (as all the pumps are the same) however, you must remove the
bracket on the new pump and re-install the original vehicle pump bracket on the new part.
Important: Continue to order correct part number per EPC.
