INSTRUCTION TO SERVICE
ITS61032

PROCEDURE:
1. Ensure to apply parking brake.
2. Turn the main battery disconnect switch to the “OFF” position.
3. Locate the infotainment sign(s). See Figure 1.
4. Locate the single mounted signs bracket hardware and remove the four lower mounting screws and washers
one at a time and replace them with new item #1 Screws and item #2 Washers. Apply one or two drops of
Loctite item #3 to their threads and torque to 20 IN-LBS. See Figure 1. Discard old screws and washers.



NOTE: Only remove one screw at a time not to allow the internal nut in the sign to slide downward.

5. Locate the two upper sign mounting screws and washers. Remove them and apply one or two drops of Loctite
the screw threads re-installing and torque to 20 IN-LBS. See Figure 1.

6. Locate the dual mounted signs bracket hardware and remove the eight lower mounting screws and washers
one at a time and replace them with new item #1 Screws and item #2 Washers. Apply one or two drops of
Loctite item #3 to their threads and torque to 20 IN-LBS. See Figure 2. Discard old screws and washers.



NOTE: Only remove one screw at a time not to allow the internal nut in the sign to slide downward.

7. Locate the two upper sign mounting screws and washers. Remove them and apply one or two drops of Loctite
the screw threads re-installing and torque to 20 IN-LBS. See Figure 2.
8. Remove all tools and debris from the bus.
9. Turn the main battery disconnect switch to the “ON” position.
10. Check that the sign functions as it should and return the bus service.
