materials and pleasing textures for refined comfort.
Flexible cargo space can be arranged by various seat arrangements.
The 3rd row seats do not require headrest removal and are easier to operate due to the use
of a spring and dumper.
The wide door configuration with 64.7 cubic feet of cargo space, makes loading and
unloading almost effortless. Plus, the customizable seating arrangements help you
organize your cargo, making every road trip that much easier.

PERFORMANCE
Regenerative Braking
The Outlander Plug-in Hybrid uses regenerative braking to convert kinetic energy into
electricity to charge the battery. This system activates automatically when your foot is
off the accelerator and can be manually controlled using the steering-mounted paddle
shifters.
Plug-in Hybrid Systems
The fuel-efficient 2.4L MIVEC engine and twin electric motors shift between three drive
systems, adapting to road conditions to provide extra power and versatility.
Save on gas with 100% electric, zero-emission driving. Switch to the EV system and
power will come from the twin electric motors, while energy is sourced exclusively from
the lithium-ion battery pack.
The EV Mode Selector Switch adds four more driving options so that the 2.4L MIVEC
engine and twin electric motors work at maximum efficiency for every mile of the journey.

Outlander Plug-in Hybrid comes with a suite of advanced safety features within the
Multiple Standard, Integrated Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) help to
safeguard you and your passengers.
Lane Departure Warning
The Lane Departure Warning system continually monitors your current lane position and
provides an audible and visual alert if it senses you might be unintentionally drifting.
Rear Cross Traffic Alert
Rear Cross Traffic Alert scans the area behind the vehicle for nearby objects while you're in
reverse and will issue an audible warning immediately if it senses anything.

SAFETY FEATURES (Continued)
Forward Collision Mitigation with Pedestrian Detection
If a car or pedestrian is detected in front of you, Forward Collision Mitigation will let you know.
If the brakes are not applied and the vehicle detects a risk of collision is imminent, the system
will apply the brakes to stop.
Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Assist
If another vehicle approaches a blind spot, Blind Spot Warning will flash a warning light in the
corresponding side mirror. If you activate your turn signal indicator, an audible and visual
alert will tell you it's not safe to change lanes.
