Information

In principle, only tires that at least correspond to the maximum vehicle speed may be installed on the

vehicle.

There may be national exemptions for winter tires marked for M+S and 3PMSF (3 peak mountain snow

flake), which also permit tires that do not correspond to the maximum vehicle speed.
Information

Self-sealing tires differ from conventional tires in that they have a self-adhesive, viscous layer that covers

the inside of the tire from shoulder to shoulder. If a foreign body with a diameter of up to 5 mm penetrates

the tread of a self-sealing tire, this layer closes in around the foreign body and prevents any air loss by

immediately sealing the area. If the foreign body becomes dislodged from the tire, the self-adhesive

viscous layer is designed to seal most puncture channels caused by foreign bodies with a diameter of up

to 5 mm.

It is not intended as a permanent tire repair solution following a puncture and is not designed to allow tires

to be driven under-inflated or flat.

Regularly check self-sealing tires – just like any other tires – for signs of cuts, punctures and loss of

tire pressure.

Carefully remove foreign bodies from the tread.

Replace damaged tires.

Improper handling can damage the wheel surface.

Carry out tire removal and mounting using a bead holding-down device only.

Use a leather pad on the rim flange to support the valve insertion tool.

Only use the Porsche centring clamping set for balancing.

Do not use hard brushes to clean the wheels as these can cause deep scratches that cannot be removed

by polishing.

Never use solvents or other chemical substances not approved by Porsche on tires.
