I. Purpose
To provide detailed instructions for installing slide-out rollers on the interior and
exterior of the slide-out that will provide adequate slide-out support.

II. Responsibilities
Dealer Service Personnel:
Fully complete this procedure within the time allowed to include the verification of
the correction for slide-out repair.

IV. Procedure
Inspection:
1. Inspect slide-out for roller support 6” away from the column installed on top of
the wheel well and behind left dinette booth cabinet.
2. Verify slide-out manufacturing tag states ‘VII’ in the description.
3. If rollers are not present and ‘VII’ is on the manufacturing tag proceed to repair.
4. If rollers are not present and ‘VII’ is not included in the manufacturing tag
proceed with repair and verify slide mechanism is not part of Lippert TSB 146001-2022.
5. If rollers are present then execution of this procedure is not necessary.
Repair:
1. Remove the slide-out box, slide-out bottom pan and rollers from the unit.
2. Using composite material create a block that is 2“x2”x24”; reference Figure A.
3. Secure composite block on top of the wheel well
with 1” self-tapper screws from the underside as
Figure A
shown in Figures B and C.

4. Install slide-out pan (Item# 40000169)
and corner pans (Item# 40000162 and 40000163) to slide-out opening; refer
to Figure D.
a. Cut Item# 40000169 into two sections
that appropriately fit the unit floor slide
opening and wheel well slide opening.
b. Install sections onto unit floor and
composite block.

5. Re-install existing rollers and additional black
slide roller (Item# 10000165).
a. IMPORTANT! End rollers 6” from wall opening side wall; span rollers
along the slide room sill a maximum of 36” between rollers to support
the weight of the slide room.
6. Re-install the slide-out box.
7. With the slide-out partially extended install Z-brackets
(Item# 50000043) to the slide column and sidewall. Proper
installation requires two (2) Z-brackets per side of the slideout as shown in Figure E.
8. Install a white slide-out roller (Item# 95001077) to the
bottom left dinette cabinet.
a. Remove the panel on the left side of the dinette;
refer to Figure F.
b. Position the roller in the middle of the opening and
attach the roller to the side of the bottom aluminum
square tube; refer to Figure G.

c. Ensure the roller is installed level and contacting the floor in place of the
dinette cabinet base.

9. Verify slide operation and proper sealing.
