SUBJECT: SF681 - Product Improvements
This letter provides additional details on field service campaign:
SF681 - eCascadia Software Package Update.

The SF681 software package update provides the following improvements:
1. Addresses issue with the total vehicle mileage by synchronizing the odometers in the powertrain controller (eCPC) and the instrument cluster (ICC5). Going forward, both odometers on the vehicle will accurately track mileage; however any vehicle mileage accumulated prior to this repair, which was not accurately captured by the odometers, will not be accounted for.
2. Enables key-off charging
3. Enables sequential charging
4. Enables dual port charging on vehicles with two charge ports
5. Enables brake light activation during regenerative braking, at a set deceleration threshold
6. Allows vehicle to go “Powertrain READY” and turn on the air compressor, even if the transmission is
stuck in gear with the air pressure depleted
7. Enables a “limp-home mode” in the event of an individual drive motor failure, on vehicles with more
than one drive motor
NOTE: Item 7 only applies to vehicles updated with the later eCPC 23.3 software, not the 23.1 software
used at the launch of SF681.
