T680 Next Gen Fairing Pin Replacement
Whats New Abstract
Certain T680 Next Gen fairings may have a loose or missing bushing that allows the rear partial fairing to rattle
during operation. Parts and procedures are available to replace the pin on the fairing (both sides) with a
bolt/spacer combination to reduce fairing rattle.
Condition
Fairings on certain T680 Next Gen chassis may loosen and rattle during operation due to loose or missing
fairing bushings. Pins on the fairing will be replaced with a spacer and bolt/nut assembly to reduce fairing
rattle.
Chassis Affected
Certain T680 Next Gen chassis built from 01/18/2021 through current production with rear partial fairings.
Action
Fix-As-Fail
If a customer comes into your dealership and has a loose or missing lower rear fairing bushing, follow the
procedures to replace the lower rear fairing pin(s) with a bolt/nut/spacer assembly. (One per side)
Warranty
For repairs completed by 06/01/2025, Kenworth will pay for parts at dealer net plus applicable mark-up and
labor:

¢ File an additional claim for extraordinary circumstances. A quick claim for standard labor must be filed
first.
