2024 XL750R TRANSALP
OWNER’S MANUAL MISSING QUICK SHIFTER INSTRUCTIONS
BACKGROUND
American Honda is launching a PRODUCT UPDATE on CERTAIN 2024 model year XL750R
TRANSALP motorcycles to update the owner’s manual. The owner’s manual originally supplied
with affected XL750R TRANSALP motorcycles is missing the instructions that describe how to
understand and safely operate the Quick Shifter feature.

CUSTOMER NOTIFICATION
Honda intends to mail customer letters and replacement owner’s manuals to all owners of affected
2024 XL750R TRANSALP motorcycles in May, 2024. Customers will be informed that their
motorcycle may be affected by a product update campaign and will be advised to discard their
original owner’s manual with a part number of 00X31-MLC-6000 and begin using the provided
replacement owner’s manual with part number 00X31-MLC-6010.

WARRANTY CLAIM INFORMATION
After completing the Service Bulletin
replacement procedure, submit one warranty
claim per unit with the following template

to free the bag.

number 00X31-MLC-6000 and discard it.
4. Install the replacement owner’s manual [5]
with part number 00X31-MLC-6010 into the
document bag [3].

REPAIR PROCEDURE
Remove the original owner’s manual from
underneath the seat and replace it with the
new owner’s manual with a part number of
00X31-MLC-6010.
1. Unlock the seat [1] using the ignition key [2]
as shown below.

5. Place the document bag onto the seat and
secure it with the rubber strap.

6. Reinstall the seat by inserting the hooks of
the fuel tank and frame into the slits in the
seat, and then push the rear of the seat
down to lock it in place.
