Dear ,
Brinkley RV has determined that on certain Model Z Fifth Wheels and Model Z-Air Travel Trailers, the bunk bed
mattresses were constructed by the supplier with staples. Under certain conditions, these staples could protrude
through the external mattress covers and create minor skin irritation or puncture the skin.
We are instituting a Technical Service Bulletin (TSB-2401) for all Model Z and Model Z-Air units with VIN#’s as
referenced above.
As a proactive measure, Brinkley RV (in partnership with the mattress supplier, Lippert) will, at no charge to the
customer, provide replacement mattresses for the potentially affected units. Please discard the old mattresses.
All Dealers are being notified of this Bulletin and work instructions have been provided. Brinkley RV will pay for
the Bulletin to be completed. There is no charge to you for the remedy.
Please know that Brinkley Customer Care is here to help facilitate this remedy. Replacement mattresses are readily
available to send out at no charge to the customer by contacting our Customer Care Team at
[email protected] or (574) 501-4280 and providing the requested photos. R eplacement
mattresses can also be sent to your dealer, and filed through the dealer Claims process. As campers, we
understand the importance of utilizing your unit during the peak of the camping season. We apologize for any
frustration or inconvenience that this situation causes to you and your family.
