This is to revise and replace Campaign 2680, dated 13-Apr-2023. This revision is to:
1. Update the Title.

If additional information is required, please contact your Cummins Warranty Operations

Description

This In-Shop Campaign is being issued to address a new BMS and SCM firmware, bootloader and
calibration for certain BES CM2450 EV101B.

This In-Shop Campaign does not reimburse for any SRTs except those that are listed. It is
recommended, but not required, that this Field Action be performed as part of another Cummins
warrantable repair event to allow reimbursement for charges such as travel, troubleshooting, or
access issues that are outside the scope of this field action.

Action

In order to qualify for repair under this field action, a drivetrain system:

1. will be covered Regardless of coverage status, and
2. must show as OPEN on QuickServe® Online for this field action.

After verifying that the engine meets the above requirements, perform the following actions:

Note : For detailed instructions, please refer to In-Shop Campaign #C2680 -
Attachment B Rover RR6/PP4 Re-Flash Instructions. Following every detail of the
instructions are crucial to performing a successful update and for preventing
unnecessary component replacement. Please follow every step listed carefully.

Note : Pre-authorization must be obtained through 1-800-CUMMINS and recorded in a
CCRITSR before replacing a battery pack under this Field Action. Failed and
replacement battery pack serial numbers MUST be noted in the claim narrative.
Replacement battery packs will be reimbursed as Other Claimables and should be
claimed at actual cost. Additional charges, handling allowance, and any other claimed
costs must be documented in the claim narrative.

Material Disposition

Where applicable, items removed should be returned to ReCon for core credit. Unless otherwise
indicated, items with no core liability can be scrapped.

repair. Coverage may be available for components that fail during the RR6 Calibration
Update. Please include brief summaries on the details of parts claimed. A lack of
documentation in the narrative may result in a reduction in claim reimbursement or
claim denial.

Note : Pre-authorization is required for EV Battery Pack replacements. You MUST call
1-800-CUMMINS to secure the needed authorizations. Replacement battery packs will
be reimbursed as Other Claimables and should be claimed at actual cost.

Note : All SRTs listed are OPTIONAL. Select ONLY the appropriate SRTs for the repair
performed. Additionally, SRTS required to remove and replace failed components
resulting from the RR6 Calibration Update can be claimed under this Campaign
Authorization # C2680. Please include brief summaries on the details of items claimed.
A lack of documentation in the narrative may result in a reduction in claim
reimbursement or claim denial.

Note : Where appropriate, an overnight stay to complete campaign activities is
authorized under this In-Shop Campaign. Lodging is claimable, please consolidate all
appropriate invoiced items and claim them as one line item in Other Claimables titled
CAMPAIGN SUPPLIES. A total of $300.00 (USD) is allowed for reimbursements. Please
include brief summaries on the details of items claimed. A lack of documentation in the
narrative may result in a reduction in claim reimbursement or claim denial.
