Description

This Campaign is being issued to address o-ring replacements at the air compressor coolant lines
on certain X15 and X12 engines. This will prevent potential coolant leaks due to non-conforming o-
ring material. Through this Campaign, it is authorized to repair applicable components at certified
repair locations if all criteria are met in the Action section.

Action

In order to qualify for repair under this field action, an engine:

1. will be covered Regardless of coverage status, and
2. must show as OPEN on QuickServe® Online for this field action.

Note : The ESN list is attached for reference.
After verifying that the engine meets the above requirements, perform the following actions:

1. Per Repair Procedure 012-004, disconnect batteries, drain cooling system and remove coolant
lines from air compressor.

2. Replace o-ring at both ends of the elbow fittings from both coolant supply and drain lines.
Please refer to Attachment B for visual aide.

3. Once all 4 o-rings have been installed, complete air compressor coolant lines installation.
Please refer to the appropriate Service Manual for detailed instructions.

Material Disposition

Materials removed as a result of this field action must be scrapped.
